Yes, the greater access to information through the use of technology can be a force of good – it can also be a means of spreading pernicious and undemocratic views.
Free speech is precious but controls over hate crime need to be very strong.
How one deals with “fake news” is more difficult. One needs to define “fake news” and then decide how to police it.

I agree but this requires law solutions for the entire EU and who knows maybe for the democratic part of the world but this is difficult especially during elections where parties competing for leadership places often attack their rivals,which was also used in the US and in French and Germany by Russia during elections we had to deal with a similar way of fake news.Out of this difficult situation is to inform the public about possible threats and establishing a legal framework.
